So, now I'm curious... do you really have a tattoo? Matt and I got tattoos for our 10th Anniversary and Ethan told us that he "was not for the idea, at all." Ha!
Haha Liz! Heather - yes I do. I got it for my 30th birthday. Ethan cracks me up! Wait til he's 18! I'd love to see what you got. Angela - I basically explained to her the background of the verse and why God did not want the Jews to mark their bodies like the pagans. I did talk to her as well about where I got mine and how it didn't turn out as I wanted and how you have to be very sure you want one.
Let's swap pics! Matt and I got our wedding date [in roman numerals] on our ring fingers. We designed it to fit underneath our wedding bands. They didn't turn out exactly how we had wanted, the year [MM] had to be put on the underside of our finger, due to the month and day [X VII] taking up too much room on the tattoo-able part on the front of the finger. But, all in all we are pleased with the result. :)
